You have to be very quick,  because they sell out fast. From what i understand,  there is no inventory.  You get to add the options you want and he makes it to your specifications.
But very few razors are allowed to be purchased, so it's a mad rush once he tweets they are available.   I opened a Twitter just for this reason. I have landed two razors in the last year.  Unless you are on the list,  this is the best way to get a razor. He has not opened the list in a very long time.

Wolfman's twitter account is dormant since 11/11/2017

Sounds about right, he doesn't release razors all that often.

FWIW he told me a few weeks ago he was processing Cu and Ti stock now. As of yesterday, there is no definite timeframe on when they will actually be available.

James still makes razors, yes. He use to announce on Twitter when there was stock, but has moved away from that method and rather, randomly adds a few number of razors available to purchase. Last I spoke with him, he has no plans of going back to a waiting list. He said he hated that thing lol. As to anyone wanting a Wolfman, you have to monitor his site. There are ways Tongue. He has been releasing them about every other week with probably 5-10 spots I believe. I think he still wants to do custom razors, as he did previously with his waitlist but I don't think he has an idea of how he wants to go about that yet.

Bought a stainless handle from him a few days ago. Great guy; unbelievable craftsman.

Wolfman razors are just a gimmick razor the reason why people buy them because of the availability of them. There is no way that any experience Wet Shaver thinks that a Wolfman razor is worth $400 they just buy them so they can say that have one.

I have a BBS-1 and have shaved with it hundreds of times. I do use a couple other razors every now and again. But since I tried James razor I found it is my best shaving design for both my facial skin and beard. I didn't pay any money for the BBS-1 when I got it. I traded something (a ceracoted Mongoose version 2) that was purchased for $120. Then I received the BBS-1 so I guess I can't relate exactly to your post. Maybe if I have the chance to purchase a redesigned BBS-1 head, then I would probably pay $400 to try it. Maybe it would be cheaper if James is okay if I don't want a handle. dmiller622 Do you think asking only to purchase the head cap and base plate would hurt my chances? I is not any experience Wet Shaver who thinks Wolfman razor is worth $400 and bought it so I could brag about it a few years later to a thread like this.

Anyone who thinks a Wolfman razor is a gimmick has probably never owned one. But maybe you should keep spouting how experienced you are and how clueless the rest of us are.

you do not have to own one to think this razor is just a novelty and I can afford to buy one I chose not to get on this novelty train. I am not knocking anyone that owns one as it is there choice, but I do not understand why there is such a fuss over this razor. Seriously $400 for head and handle and I place Wolfman and the One Blade Genesis in the same category the most expensive and most overrated razors on the market.

400 Canadian. Which is close to what charcoal and timeless are charging.
