Very interested to hear about this one because I really want the DC but would get 1.15 or 1.25. Don’t know which one to go with when I actually get a chance to order one.

I wavered between those and chose the 1.25 because I've yet to try one of James's razors that wasn't smooth at the highest of gaps.

I'll give an update once it arrives.

My perspective is wr1 oc v sb is a huge delta. Only use oc of dc wr1 razors owned on first pass or get bad abrasion. If pressed would state oc is equivalent to 2 step increase in gap of a sb: e.g., 0,54 oc = 0,67 sb from my experience.

Own 4 duFour razors: WR1 in 0,54 thru 0,67 dc (had 0,48 and 0,74 but sold) and a BBS1

Strange how we perceive gear differently. I've got a 74SB, 80OC, 86SB, 86OC, and 94SB. The 80OC is not as efficient as the 86SB, let alone the 94SB.

If the OC is more efficient than it's SB brethren, it is slight/negligible, on my face anyway.

The only difference I feel between my .67 and .74 SB and OC WR1’s is just the slightest increase in blade feel with the OC’s. Both the SB and OC WR1’s are equally efficient in like Blade gaps as far as I can tell. YMMV and all that.

Wow looks like James had another release I missed. In over three years still no Wolfman for me. I look each day 5-10 times but no luck.
I was wondering since many of you have numerous Wolfman razors and so many of you say your best friends with James and he is a great guy any chance you can ask him to help an old timer acquire one?

No friendship here, I just happen to be in a job where I’m at my desk all the time and I can check the website fairly often

Thanks for the update. As a doorman I don’t have that option. So it is at breaks, lunch, coming and going from work that I check. At least 5 times but more like 10. Maybe one day in the future James will realize that there are a few guys who just want a razor and have zero luck under his system. Best to those that have one.

Everyone seems to think drops only happen during James' 8 hour work day schedule. That is not true. I've caught it open at 10:30pm EST on a Tuesday night. I've caught it open on a Saturday afternoon 6:30pm EST time. Not having the ability to check while one is at work doesn't preclude anyone from ordering a razor.

I am certainly not best friends with James. No other kind of friend either, although I'm likely in the running for 2018 Customer of the Year. Maybe I'll get a Christmas card, but I won't hold my breath.

Be patient. Be vigilant when you can. You can score a razor.

Thanks Loot but I work 16 hour shifts and sometimes 24. While 'on duty' no cell phone. My unofficial schedule is 7 days a week. I got two days off this year so far for sick leave.
Diligence is tough after 3+ years. But I have been doing it. I check anytime. Just to me seems many of the same individuals score one and on occasion I catch a first timer. But most of them have only been looking a short time. No old guys like me.
It's good to hear that it really is just luck of tapping into the site.
Today I am off so been looking but since James just opened last week not real hopeful.
At this stage I thought try something new. I was really hoping someone had a way to contact James as my Mother and Brother are going through a rough patch with the fire evacuation taking place.
But things will work out. Maybe with luck James will read and open a list for long timers that have been unlucky. Never know.
One member wrote me and said James replaced him on the list as it was his fourth time in a row. So there is hope, but he did say that was the other month or two.
But really appreciate the support.
FYI I did try to send email to James but was returned. Hence why I thought of you guys.
Thanks again.
