Yes,  sold all the crown jewels including a LASS prototype. Into Timeless now and think they might just as good and definitely shave better.

Ughh why didn't I see your post sooner.. lol. Been looking for a BBS-1 since forever.

But hmm.. now you just made me curious about the Timeless.

Timeless SB or Blackbird v2?

Sold them several years ago. Today probably could have gotten several grand for the lot which included a Wolfman all brass set and a LASS prototype. One of the LASS stainless razors was numbered I think #3. I will still maintain the Timeless razors are excellent.

This is very good news for those who have never experienced owning a Wolfman razor. I have owned several Wolfman and several LASS (Wolfman) razors and know the feeling. Between the Timeless and Wolfman brands it is a  very hard choice to make.

Out of curiosity, do you think the Timeless hits the same level of craftsmanship? I've heard good things, but from what I read it was still a notch below the Wolfman. (I know, I know, YMMV)

I have a couple of Wolfman razors and the Timeless OC. It is my intent to pick up the scallop SB head as well from Timeless but hanging tight for now based on some dialogue regarding handle options I have had.

In the meantime, they are both very, very well finished razors. I would give the nod to Wolfman if making an absolute call but not by much.

The shaves on the other hand, although again both great, I give to Timeless.

Both are fantastic razors. Timeless performs better for my beard type and is readily available. Wolfman are functional, heirloom quality razors in high demand with long lead times.

What was he using previously? Was he hand-turning the handles on a lathe? How was he making the heads?

I interpreted the CNC machine mention in the newsletter to mean that he now had an additional CNC machine, so production output could now be higher.

"New CNC Machine, June 2016

Another machine was delivered recently, so production will be increasing.   This will also allow for prototyping and development without interrupting production.   There are several original designs ready for prototype machining."

Looks like prices have been posted for all the metals he offers, with the demand of his razor I can understand the price increases.
