Now on sale with no waiting is the new 2023 version of the Wolfman Guerrilla razor. Rather then giving you all the facts I will supply the link. It cost is 275 CAD ($205 USD).

Don't know about this finish, must create some drag on skin,
Waiting to read the first review or see the first Youtube with this razor.
In comparison to the 2017 Gorilla, is it the same gap 0.57 ?
I  cannot afford the car of my dreams but I can certainly shave with the best razor in the world!

The original was .69 and the finishing was a lot better IMO

It is however a mild razor so not for everyone

Why is it when some people see a razor with anything but a polished finished on a razor they automatically think the razor will create some form of drag because of its finish and not even think that it could have something to do with the soap they are using...it's always the finish's fault!! I for one will say that that is just BS as I've had both polished, machined, and satin finish and have never noticed any form of drag from any razor ever!! I'm sure that has everything to do with the Stirling soap I use and it being the slickest soap I've ever used, period... My preference is actually a machined finish and in titanium being the best combo I've ever used.

Please don’t get angry,
It is simple science, Mirror polish - by definition, will glide better. Nothing to do with taste, I like the matte look. In termes of gliding - always a mirror surface will glide better. By the way, I use Sterling on a daily basis

I am reminded of an Introductions to Statistics class I had to take. One of the examples given was about a cold medicine. Of course the claims were it could reduce the length of your cold. It was shown it does have statistical significance but just how much of a difference does it make. Given the hypotheticals provided it equaled out to 8 minutes. They didn't call it practical significance, but that's a perfect name for it. I'm not buying a medicine that only makes a difference of 8 minutes. There is no practical reason to waste my money for that.

I've never noticed a difference myself. In my mind it would seem that it would make a difference that I could agree with theoretically, but theory and real life don't always match up. There are too many other factors to take into account. The soap used, if you used a preshave of some sort, was your skin dry that day, and too many other factors. If it makes a difference for someone that's great, but so much of this hobby is finding your personal preference first and foremost. Technique can only get me so far using stuff I don't like like a synthetic brush, a cartridge razor, an aftershave that doesn't work for me, etc.

On the razor, I'd like to see more photos. I'm at the point to where the vendor provided photos just don't do any good, but the finish doesn't look that great on that razor. The original Guerilla looked better to my memory. It isn't that the photos don't look good, it's like looking at photos of an airbrushed model. It's too perfect with the lighting. I need to see it in more realistic conditions to get an idea whether it is for me or not.

I do prefer the look of the original Guerrilla and have never felt it needed to be polished. It performs great for me no drag whatsoever. All my WR1 razors are brushed.

If I want a closer shave I will use a WR1.

Frankly, I was hoping for more.
The remodeling is minimal.
Except in the price ...

Not angry at all,
but your "simple science" has never been proven by science, definition, or any other means... I do realize and respect that it is of your opinion, but again, never been proven by science!
