In fact, taking the razor as an example, when I can skillfully use SR, for me, I believe I can perfectly control any DE. But I will still pursue some high-end DE. Because they make the shaving process easier and more comfortable. Moreover, keeping some beautiful collections is easier to make me feel happy when using them.

Of course, this is just a personal feeling. I can't quantify it to prove its existence. I'm tired of arguing with people about it. After all, everyone's situation is different. How much we are willing to pay for a product depends entirely on how we look at it."

Sir, if you need a Mega Buck razor to make you feel "happy" then your problem is not shaving. Trust me. Deeper issues are at play.

why do you care though?

It's either envy or insecurity. BPmanis always ready to criticize people for what they choose to do with their money, or what they choose for soaps, or what they choose for post-shave products. He never offers an opinion of why he chooses a product without superimposing criticism of others.

Nobody criticizes him for any product he chooses to use!

I choose science and common sense usually. I know how to shave and can get a great shave each & every time with an old Gillette or Schick razor. I have tried artisan razors and IMO they are objects of art that shave no better than vintage razors. Too many "Wolfie" lovers have more Dollars than sense.

I can get a comfortable bbs from a 5 cent cartridge. We're not paying $400 for a bbs shave. The small batch, CNC machined, hand finished razors from said artisans are objectively better, and higher quality than plastic, zamac, metal-coated, mass-produced razors.

This is a mirror WR1 I got in 2015. I just thought I’d remind people what the fuss is all about.

It is amazing how, once again, another thread descends into the level of a dumpster fire.
