Why are some artisans being bit harsh towards other artisans?

Like saying the others are just fancy packaged bar soaps?

I get their in competition with each other, but to me most of them preform the same which is to say great. I've yet to run access a rebranded bar soap pretending to be shave soap marked up.

The big difference for me is scents. Artisans all have different scents. Well that and price.

I don't much like the idea of being others down to make Oneself look better or to compensate for lack of something.

I have not seen much if any of this either. From my observation and experience, most artisans seem to be very respectful of each other and some in fact seem to share ideas and collaborate to some degree.

Friendly "coop-itition" so to speak.

I've not seen any instances of this on DFS. In my experience the artisans/vendors that are active on DFS have generally conducted themselves with a high degree of mutual respect and integrity. I can extend that to the general DFS membership as well. Its generally been a pretty decent place to hang out and share ideas and opinions.

I have no reason disbelieve that artisan wasn't telling the truth.  Could it be that some people jumped on the money making bandwagon without being skilled in the craft? .All soaps are not equal. They just aren't. They are not "all great". Some are clearly poorer in technical performance that others. And "reviewers" have admitted they simply don't publicize poor reviews (for whatever their reasons might be).

If all soaps were equal, then there would be no price difference because nobody would buy the more expensive ones.
