It’s the tallow version.

whollykaw, it sounds like you are somehow managing to still improve an already impeccable base (whether tallow or vegan). Happy2

Can’t wait for Project Leather to arrive. I’m continually amazed by WhollyKaw’s scents alone, and then when you add to that the performance … what can I say — holy cow!

Is there any scent overlap between Project Leather and King of Oud?

I thing I read that PL is a more refined scent while Oud was a very loud and in your face scent in comparison. I can only imagine the scents are different enough that they would justify two separate runs of soap.

I had it wrong. It was the oscuro someone asked about being similar to PL being that they are both leather scents. Interested to those that tried PL and Oud to explain the difference.

Next shave will be with Merchant of Tobacco, which also smells insanely good from the tub.

I have a couple of questions for whollykaw  do you plan on releasing an EDT  of the Merchant of Tobacco? Pretty please? Would also love to see an unscented aftershave balm, with a little menthol in it for kicks.

As always, great new releases!

Apologies for the late responses. We briefly closed for the holidays and will come back Wednesday Dec 27.

We are proud of our latest scent blend Project Leather and are super happy you loved it.

EdT - for Merchant of Tobacco is in the works but no timeline yet. Still a small operation and there is only so much we can squeeze into our timeline Sad

But in 2018 we will adding more people to handle the load so we can introduce more scents and more products.

Between the King of Oud and Project Leather, there are few notes like the Oud that are common between the two. But the similarities end there in that the final scent blend is as different from chalk and cheese.

Hey all,
I posted a review of the WK deodorant directly on WK site and figured I'd share it here to:

Wholly Kaw Deodorant - Man from Mayfair scent
Overall: 5/5

I’ve been using WK deodorant almost every day (2 sprays per arm) for 2
months now and have zero irritation, unlike other natural deodorants with
high baking soda content. WK does a better job at eliminating stink than
most others I tried – Pit Paste might be on par but with their high baking
soda I can only use it lightly or I get a rash and since it’s used lightly
sometime end up with stink. I estimate that I’ve used 20% of the bottle so
far (round up to 25% for good measure), meaning this one bottle should last
me 6 months or less if you do 3-5 sprays per arm as suggested. Others like
Kiss My Face may last a one to two months. So, while price seem high it’s
about the same or less than other natural deodorants given how long it
lasts.

Scent is subjective so I won’t get into that, but I will say I prefer the
scent to be less strong. It’s not overpowering, but I can smell it in the
morning while at work which I usually don’t get from stick deodorants and is
the only reason I use 2 sprays instead of more. I’m more used to that now
than when I first got it. I actually haven’t tried more than 2 so maybe I’ll
experiment with 3-5 to see if the scent strength increases. In any case, I
will be buying again and likely try a different scent next time. Note – this
was used during the fall (cooler weather) and I will try during the summer
in about 6 months.

Thank you for trying the deo and for the great review after you used it for some time.
