Maggards is placing an order as we speak. Once the website orders are shipped, we will be shipping to the retailers so mid to late next week is when we expect to ship.

Cool, if there's any of the aftershave left by the time the meet up rolls around, I'll have to snag a bottle while I'm there.

Hi whollykaw I've got a couple of your soaps - Chypre Rose Concerto and Washington's Blend and I really like the performance and the scent. I may have missed something along the line as I notice that all of your labelling has changed. Has the soap formulation changed as well? If so, what have you done differently and why? As I said, I find the performance of your old label versions outstanding.
Thanks,
Marko

We did a rebranding project late last year that resulted in the new label and logo that is there on the site now. Therefore, we are not using the old labels anymore. As far as formulation changes, we tweaked some of the ratios of the ingredients in the tallow version resulting in a harder soap than before. The older tallow formula gave a much softer soap bordering on a croap. There is no change in the performance - from loading times, lather quality and post shave perspectives.

The vegan formula --change was done several months ago to add shea butter and jojoba oil. We also got an alternative to lanolin that is plant based -- Soybean Glycerides and Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter Unsaponifiables. These are the INCI names and is used by the cosmetics industry as a replacement for animal derived Lanolin. In Monaco Royale vegan version, these two additional ingredients were used.

Hope I answered your question.

I just want to chime in and say that Monaco Royale (tallow version) is a fantastic product! I am super happy with the purchase. As I stated in another thread, it makes some of the densest, creamiest and slickest lather imaginable. It's a very thirsty soap, but once you get enough water into it, the performance is top notch. For today's shave, I purposely did not use any aftershave for a while to test the post shave and it is outstanding. I don't know if the addition of donkey milk has anything to do with it (probably), but it left my face feeling soft and supple without a hint of dryness anywhere. The scent is also fantastic. It is complex and hard to describe, but it could easily be an everyday type scent for me. Great job and I would recommend this soap to anyone!

Thanks, yes that answers my question but I have another one - I'm up in Canada and I've found it difficult to buy your soap from Canadian vendors. Men Essentials used to have some a loooong time ago but were "sold out" forever and then eventually just deleted all reference to WK. IB carried it but they either don't restock until virtually every unit is sold or they just aren't going to restock. So the question - are you going to distribute with any Canadian vendors in the future? I know its a small thing but shipping costs over the border do add up. If you're looking around for vendors up here I've been happy with Fendrihan and Canadian Blade Co. in addition to the ones I mentioned above. In any case, thanks for the reply and thanks for making such great soap.

We do want to get our product with the retailers in Canada so that it is accessible to folks in Canada.  We will reach out to the retailers again.
