Shulton's Old Spice Lime??? My wife used to buy me that when I was a pup!! Man, did that stuff smell good. (IMO) I just checked on the flea bay an Etsy. Incredible.... 40 bucks for a bottle. I guess Mama had good taste, even back then! !! Semper-fi Mike

Yes, I remember it well. I have a little of an original bottle left; I used it a lot this summer. One of my favorites. How about the various Aqua Velva scents besides Ice Blue? Anyone remember them? Every holiday season I would get the sampler pack. Wish they still made it!

I have a decanter, shaped like a telescope/spy glass, containing Shulton's Old Spice original that I picked up for $12 full at a local antique shop. LOVE that stuff!

Yes, I'm reminded of an Aqua Velva scent that I loved. I think it was called Redwood. Freddy, who was it that made all those great AS scents and put them in all kinds of decanters; maybe Avon? Every year there would be new ones.

Yea Avon did that. In fact, there are a couple Avon decanters at a local vintage store near me. I think I might have to pick them up...

I agree with Chris (BadDad) about that, OldGuy.  Those Avon decanters always seem to pop up in antique stores.  I remember I used to have one in the shape of a cowboy boot.  It may have even had a spur attached.

Do any of our senior members remember a set of colognes from the mid-late 1960s called Nine Flags?  They were a set of small bottles and each scent represented a different country.  I was a 19 or 20 year old working as a stock boy in the old Abraham & Straus department store in downtown Brooklyn when those came out and they were prominently displayed in the men's department.  I had several different scents in the set.  However, I don't recall them hanging around very long.

And you're right Freddy, they weren't around long. If I remember correctly they were pretty pricey compared to brands like Williamson, Brut, and English Leather.
