who is reknotting brushes?

It's been years since I had a brush reknotted so I'm not sure who is doing this these days...

I have an old ever-ready 150 brush that I'd like to stuff a synthetic knot in. who is doing quality reknots?

Get a rotary tool from Harbor Freight and try Andrew. It might be a fun project.

I agree that it would be a fun project for folks that enjoy that kind of thing. The only comment I would add is that you don't want to do your first one on a valuable brush. I'm not familiar with that make and model and don't know what they cost.

Razor Emporium would be an excellent choice.

I've put the knot in or reknotted 5 out of my 7 brushes. It's really easy if you have access to the right tools and are the DIY type of person.

The best reknot but expensive would be Scott at Declaration Brushworks if you like a very, very dense knot.

thanks! I've been chatting with him on instagram and will be sending him my brush on Monday afternoon. I bought a 24mm black synthetic knot from Maggard's for him to use. He's going to fit a 24mm and then a 26mm and send me some pics to see which one I prefer..

FWIW, I've tried several times to get a setting on a black synthetic that worked for me.  And I couldn’t find a loft that felt right.

I think I have too strong a preference for two band badger.  I hope yours goes well and is satisfying for you.
