White shaving brushes

I believe I started a trend on Instagram Many people have started acquiring white brushes! About eight months ago, I start putting together a personal collection of white brushes. You can see many of them on my Instagram account. These two are a collaboration with rudyvey

I pointedly was not going for pure white, but the white handles I've seen appeared to be in a matte finish, which is what I was after.  Andrew at Viking and I had a lengthy exchange about what my goals were (matte faux ivory, in my case).  He came up with a plan to add some yellow tint, and I really like the result.  My photog skills are non-existent, so if the ivory'ness does not come across, the fault is mine not Andrew's.

This a a pic before I had even glued in the knot (26mm "Odin's Beard" fan).  I have since cleaned it once and used it twice.  Too lazy to take more pics right now.
