Easily Jabonman/Eufros tallow formula along with L&L and possibly P&B - for the slickest, most silvery lather. B&M too is up there in giving as fab shaves but I just can't get it to that same look and feel as the aforementioned.

Nuavia, or MdC, or Eufros, or P&B, or L&L, or Soapy, or T+S, or B&M, or CRSW, or LPL, or Tabac, or... So many great choices.

So many! I like creamy lather vs whip cream lather and soaps from Valobra are my poison! Lots of others will give that type lather too but Valobra, wow!

For aggressive razors, and going BBS and beyond, I prefer the Italian non-tallows, my favorites being Santa Maria Novella, XPEC, Nuavia, and Saponificio Varesino.

For milder razors, and just going to BBS, I'll use the tallows: Barrister and Mann glissant, Eufros, CRSW, with honorable mention to TTFFC and Ginger's Garden.

I've noted the many mentions of L and L Grooming, and just got my first two soaps from them in the mail today, and will give it a whirl tomorrow.

I have to go with B&M on this one.

The best i have tried was Al's shaving cream and Mickey lee soapworks.
Al's was so good that a bad blade from super max felt smooth as a personna.
There are other good options like saponificio varesino, barrister and mann, los angeles shaving soap, jabonmann, wholly kaw and some others.
