Which soap or cream produces your favorite lather?

I recently was introduced to L&L and find the lather excellent. It is dense and slick. It has quickly become by favorite lather with Eufros Premium Tallow a close second.

What soaps or cream produces the best lather for you?

If we establish 'best' as ease of lathering consistently every time by even a first time shaver, a quality shave ( assuming we do our part) with easy cleanup I would nominate an old standby of modest price, pleasant scents and often overlooked mention; Pre de Provence.
I may be momentarily gobsmacked, having first detail cleaned and oiled my Mergress , installing a new Super Iridium sans wax and using my newly gifted Plisson for the first time with four, deliberate and measured with the grain passes in COLD water.
SACRE BLEU, TRES FANTASTIK!!!!

I'm gonna have to go with Mike's or Mystic Water generally speaking. Wholly Kaw's Monaco Royale (tallow and donkey milk) is right up there too. Crazy good lathers!

Currently my absolute favorite soap is the stuff that I received as a gift from grayhane's, made by his wife. Astonishingly slick and creamy lather.

Second place can be filled by any of L&L, B&M Latha, or Crowne & Crane.

I can't pick one that is best. There are too many great soaps out there.

All of my soaps produce my favorite type of lather for the most part. However, if I go with my favorite type of lather that is the easiest to build then it would be Haslinger Sheep Milk.
