The last few months, I have noticed that when I hit latest posts, I can see the pages are "flooded" with BST listings from the same user listing different items for sale. I don't want to come across that I have an issue with people remaining active on the BST, but in some cases where 1 user may have 8 separate listings.

From what I know this is not breaking the rules. I am just curious if anyone else would prefer that users by choice or by rule change consolidate the BST listings rather than having a listing for each item.

Any thoughts on less clutter in the threads?

I don't consciously do it. I don't mind if others do it.

I guess it would save some space to consolidate, but the individual listings don't bother me. (But maybe I am the culprit...)

It doesn't bother me per se, but wouldn't be easier to put everything you're trying to sell into one post?

Separate posts seem better to me.

Then you can tell easier what is and isn't available if you're looking without reading whole posts and all the replies. Especially when there's multiple items and the update is a reply.

I'd like buy sell trade to not appear in the "latest" feed at all. if I'm looking for something I'll head on over to the B/S/T to browse.

When I hit latest posts. I'm primarily wanting to look at latest SOTDs and BST posts so I'm good with it. I'd hate to to miss an awesome deal because I had to add extra steps to finding the latest BST listings. Also I've seen a lot of people commenting on BST posts that they joined the forum specifically to communicate with a seller about an item so it's a good draw for members.

Thanks for your feedback you guys.

Vinny Champion If you are talking about closing a bst thread, you can go to the edit function and then below the "Thread Subject" and you will see the option below No Prefix which is Closed.

I usually make separate posts for each item, just seems clearer to me that way. That being said, I usually don't sell many items or very often.

However, sometimes I think it makes sense to sell several items in the same post, especially if the items are similar to each other (for example, several soaps, several razors).

Thanks for this thread, I'll keep an eye on it and will bring up your feedback with andrewjs18 and the other mods.
