What Straight Razor did you use today?

Dubl Duck Special No. 1 5/8 hollow

This one needed a refreshing, so I figured I would try out my Belgian coticule bout, and see if I could start to grasp the feel for this stone. I've never really worked with it much, as I haven't had it for very long, but it seemed to work VERY well to refresh the edge on this Duck. I started with a thin slurry, and continued to thin it until I was using just sitting water. After a few laps on clean water, I went to the sink and finished up under running water.

Stropped with 15 on ChromOx and 15 on FeOx, followed by 25 on linen/25 on leather. Shave was PHENOMENAL! Extremely close and VERY comfortable. I am going to need to do some more work with this coticule...see what other secrets it can reveal...

Refreshed this one on the coticule, and this is the best this razor has ever been. Nice, sharp edge and very gentle and comfortable.
