Ontario Cutlery 5/8.
The company continuity of Ontario is pretty cool. At the turn of the 20th century they were making straight razors. I shaved with one today For many years during the mid-20th century, the Old Hickory butcher knife made by Ontario was in just about every kitchen in the U. S. I have one in mine now. They still make knives today. I have a bunch of their knives. I'm especially a big fan of the RAT 7. They've made great products for over a hundred years and I've never seen a bad one yet.

Utica Cutlery Red Point 5/8 extra hollow
I was born in Rome, NY, and graduated high school from Whitesboro, NY, while I lived in Utica, NY. I have explored the grounds of this manufacturing plant many time as a wayward youth, running rampant through decrepit and long-empty buildings host to spiders and snakes, rodents and dust bunnies. It was around the corner from an also-abandoned mental institution. My friends and I spent many an hour exploring forbidden areas, and hiding from the prying lights of local Utica Police while we smoked something green, and drank something warming. We were young, and rebellious, and at the time, I never took notice of the actual buildings we were trespassing through. When I saw this hometown razor in an estate lot I purchased, I was very excited to have an opportunity to clean her up and bring her back to life.
