Today's shave will be with an early 20th century example of globalism. A McPhearson Bros. Glasgow, razor made of Sheffield steel and ground in Germany. While, I'm not a fan of globalism, this is a really nice shaving blade. The scales are, of course, not original.

It is the double open comb indeed. It's an excellent razor. If you tighten the blade down all the way it is very mild, but loosen it a 1/2 turn or two and it becomes more aggressive/efficient.
