B&M Spice is a high performing and IMO very pleasant homage to Old Spice. A quick trip to Wikipedia, or an even quicker trip to Google's AI, reveals that "Old Spice was launched as Early American Old Spice [a woman's perfume] by William Lightfoot Schultz's soap and toiletries company, Shulton Inc., in 1937. It was first targeted to women ... " The men's products, pitched as clean and manly, eventually became more popular, and they incorporated various ship logos. Procter & Gamble purchased the brand rights in 1990.
