What soap/cream did you use today?

Ah Christmas. For years I was humbug but like old Scrooge I found the Christmas spirit mostly due to my wife’s constant efforts to get family together.  Expensive? Yes sir! With 17 Grands it gets expensive and when she buys all the grub for the week…..well, it isn’t cheap. But man is it good! We are tucked in tight to the cabin with my eldest son and his clan. The rest will all be here in a couple of days. We will eat too much. Laugh too hard. Tell stories on each other.  And I will shave with this soap each day while we are here. Bonus that my eldest grandson (14) is fuzzy and wants to learn how to shave.  I’ve got him a kit and he won’t be fuzzy for Christmas.

My understanding is that PAA Clubguy is a variation of classic Pinaud Clubman but with menthol. If that is correct, I wonder if anybody knows how it compares to Floid which to me is basically Clubman with menthol and maybe a little more powder?

This is Clubman - but he puck I have has no menthol. I love the aftershave and this homage is perfect.

Floid is similar... Cousins- but the PAA soap is true to the Clubman AFS. I find the Clubman to have less 'powder' whilst the Floid is warmer with the menthol.
