Panta Rei products, especially their hand painted style brushes, always presented the most artistic expression. The artwork on the label is stunning; hope the soap matches its presentation. Any perspective on the scent and base

DanLaw

The Mediterraneo is reminiscent of the steppes, just before the sand dunes before you get to the sandy beach. It smells of these herbs, sage and citrus fruits. However, the sage predominates and it is more of a heavy fall scent than a light summer scent, but it is definitely delicious.

Hope that helps.

What better soap to pair a vintage brush with except a soap company from the 1930’s.  Mitchell’s has always held a soft spot in my heart. Hard puck, snazzy coffret, great performance (old formulation) and a fabulous scent.  Seems most who try to describe the scent say “soapy” but it’s much more than that. It’s lavender and pine to my nose but with other notes too. If they made an EdT I’d wear it.  So good.  The puck I’m on is about half gone. I have another old formula puck in the wings but I also have a new puck formula that is nigh unto the crap that Trumpers has become.  Why oh why do soapers do it?

Nice setup. You can’t go wrong with either an Omega or a Semogue boar knot and that’s a killer handle. Love MWF but I don’t understand why they don’t make the puck a bit bigger to fit better in the coffret
I hear you!  But I’ve always dumped a hard puck out into my hand to lather, rinse, dry, and place back in the box so the odd sizing doesn’t bother me.

DR Harris scents are so well done. Today was Lavender and although I love an in-your-face lavender scent, I really dig this subtle and woody lavender.  Yep, [Image: p1cgByT.jpeg]it’s not a Harris box but if trumpers wont make a useable soap I’m still going to use their bowl.
