I don't think they ever published the formula, so who knows what's in there? but it's one of those soaps where, while you're just loading the brush or face lathering, you already know for a fact it's going to be a slick shave. The lather was also very rich and protective, particularly on the second pass. In all those respects, it reminds me of the early Crabtree & Evelyn Mysore Sandalwood.

Noir (Joserra) Encre Noir
Shave 3 ・ 110 g left

Joserra’s Noir might outshine its inspiration, Lalique’s Encre Noir. The Spanish soap carries the same rich cypress and deep vetiver as the cologne, but it adds sweet and spicy notes that soften the scent with a smoky touch. I love it. My wife adores it.

The Blackbird Lite Ti delivers my best one-pass shave yet. Despite the Lite baseplate, the blade still feels very close and very sharp. One north-to-south pass – no buffing, no clean up – is all I need to get a perfectly smooth finish.

Stirling - Piacenza

Very nice clone of AdP... maybe even the Colonia Essenza, because I get more of the anise than the regular Colonia.

A solid Monday wake-up with cold, bracing Ethos Peppermint v1.
Still a huge fan of this soft formula..

The handful of soaps I have backups for are limited. This is definitely one of them. I need to use it some this fall.
