Clay Face

Smash (Mammoth) peach bourbon
Shave 1 ・ 97 g

Crafted by William Carius of Barrister and Mann, the fragrance of Smash strikes a balance between sweetness and depth, with notes of peach, sugar, tobacco, and bourbon. The peach leans green, the bourbon slightly bitter, but together they create a surprisingly pleasant blend. Unfortunately, the lid to my tub must not have been screwed down tight. The soap inside is dry and hard with a fragrance that lacks the clarity and punch typical of Mammoth offerings. Still, the lather performs beautifully – so slick and protective – and today’s shave was a delight.

NB: Karve's brass Overlander paired with a Feather blade is a stunning tool for hair removal.

To meme this one is definitely in the running for new scent of the year along with Zingari's The Brewer and GD's Mallard Tonka.

Thanks for the blade recommendation for the Brass Overlander. That's definitely something I'm going to try.
