That is one of the most beautiful brush handles i've ever seen!

Thank you sir.  This is a Shavemac Ebonite but this rod stock must have been available to other artisans.  It is different from most examples of Ebonite that I have seen.  I saw another example of the use of this rod stock in a photo another member of this forum sent me depicting his extensive high end shaving brush collection in a display cabinet.  I sent him a photo of this handle and he agreed it was from the same rod stock.  He informed me that his brush was a "a Leo Frilot turned handle with a Rhodium knot."

From the Woods (floral) — Los Jabones de Joserra

Used the (perceived) florals of From the Woods as a jumping-off point with fragrances incorporating floral notes, including d (Dunhill), G Eàu (Belcam), Hei (Alfred Sung), and Saguaro Blossom (Stirling).  Soap nor scents nor time were spared, and a shave approaching BBS was achieved.

Agreed. Ebonite that looks like driftwood with turqoise inlay. Really unique look

Shave 2

Grooming Dept’s Kairos SE 2023 base is fantastic. I’m getting consistently trouble-free shaves with it, and the finish is perfect – not too dry, not too greasy. With each day I’m also learning to use less soap. Honestly, I picked up these Kairos SE soaps (Coattails, Mumtaz, Ketoret) because they were so soft I thought I’d gobble them down quickly. At first, I loaded over two grams into my bowl for each shave, creating a huge mound of lather. I predicted an early demise. But now, I’m enjoying them so much that I want them to last. It turns out that just one gram of this rich soap is enough to create plenty of lather for a day’s scraping. I’ll be in lather heaven for months.
