At last I have broken my Valet hex.
Yesterday I used a new Feather blade and received a poor shave.
I stropped it this morning and was rewarded with a DFS.
I can not wait for the morning and number three shave. I wonder if there is a whisker fertilizer to speed things up.

Soap: The Blades Grim - Smolder. One of my very favourite croaps.
Blade: Feather Valet 5. That is all I can decipher on the box which is not in English. But this blade has done what no others could.
Razor: Valet VC 5 single edge. The complicated one with external cog wheels.
Brush: Stirling Synthetic. A super soft brush. Definitely my cuppa. A perfectly grippable design for my arthritic hands.
Scuttle: My usual electrically heated Mickey bowl by Michal Yoresh. Heat is neat.
After Shave: Aqua Velva Musk. It is masculine and does not overpower the room.
A happy shaver.
