Vintage Yardley Black Label shaving soap. "Black Label by Yardley is a woody chypre fragrance for men. Black Label was launched in 1967. Top notes are bergamot, amalfi lemon, orange and lemon verbena; middle notes are lavender, geranium, brazilian rosewood and clary sage; base notes are vetiver, sandalwood, patchouli and oak moss." It has a pronounced lavender tone for me, with citrus highlights, similar to but more masculine than Yardley English Lavender. It is more fragrant than other old Yardley soaps and lathers just as beautifully, making for a great shave.

Beaver Woodwright Blackbeard. Very good performance but sadly almost no scent Its supposed to be their take on Bay Rum with a twist of lime but I think they must fall in to the bay rum haters category because their take, to my nose has virtually no bay rum with a very tiny hint of lime. Still a nice lather, great cushion and slickness and nice post feel. If you want to have a bay rum soap in your arsenal but don't really care for the smell of bay rum then this soap is the one for you!
