Declaration Grooming Massacre of the Innocents

Declaration Grooming’s bison tallow has been a top soap base for me. The main question with the new Milksteak base was if it could carry that torch onward. I think it certainly will. As for the scent, duplicating fragrances seems to be in demand these days. Personally, I tend to appreciate original scents even more. That being said, I’ve never tried Herod, but I’d probably enjoy it, since Massacre of the Innocents is so pleasing.

Sometimes I like to some vintage soaps.  This one is an Avon offering Gentlemens Regimen and it has almost no scent.  Lather is easy and plenty slick.  Post shave?  Well, post shave doesn't compare to modern offerings but that's ok with me.  I usually use a post shave balm or splash anyway.  Fun shave!

I believe there was a fire in Riverside County today.  It's been crazy in this area and now some acreage in Calabasas burned today.
