As I was driving down the road to my first appointment this morning, I remember thinking to myself..."I should really use this more often, it just smells so good on a nice cool morning". Now, is it my favorite...no. But I primarily get and LOVE the damp earth/wood smoke scent off Roam.HoosierShave Wrote:Great looking lather but MAN, that scent is not for me. Do you really enjoy Roam? To me it smells like what comes out the south end of a north bound horse. Guys go gaga over this when he released the last run and I got my hands on a tub only to realize others noses appreciate what mine cannot. (That said I love Stirling Texas on Fire which makes me a freak in many opinions)
BTW, my wife really doesn't like Roam either and she hates Texas on Fire. So when you see a lather pic for either one of those two, chances are highly likely she had an earlier appointment than me
Mint Ice Menthol Paste v. (Meißner Tremonia) peppermint, menthol, eucalyptus
Yes, MIM does smell just like toothpaste, but on a hot and muggy day like today, that can be perfectly refreshing. This paste loads much more quickly than the hard soap. Forty swirls is ample. Though most days you may prefer bowl lathering, your cheeks will beg you for a good face lathering with this soap. It takes a while for the cool to build, so slather it on thick and slap it around a lot. The more you work it, the cooler you get. Don’t worry about frostbite, though. It’s chill but not freezing, so enjoy a slow careful shave that will leave you frosty, not hypothermic.
