Brush: Maggard Razors 24mm G5 knot with Maggard Razors midnight blue 25mm handle
Lather: Sudsy Soapery Unscented Tallow Shaving Soap
Load/Lather Bowl: HC&C shave bowl (straight walled)

Razor: GEM Damaskeene (Closed Comb)
Blade: Personna Super Stainless Steel (D1)

Post: Stirling witch hazel, PAA Mysterium Serum

This was the first time ever using the Personna Super Stainless Steel GEM blade. It was the first shave on the blade but the shave felt smooth. I had one insertion weeper and two other nicks. I am not sure if that is to be expected on the first shave of this blade or if I should have used a different razor for the first shave. I have been away from my ASR razors for a little bit as I was breaking in my Kai Kasho Woody AC razor. I had a close comfortable shave and never felt the nicks.

Do any of you have any tips on the Personna Super Stainless Steel GEM blades?
