Still trying to get this PAL blade to settle down but I read some good posts on palm stropping, corking, and was reminded of my Sabre L1 plate (probably the mildest GEM style razor combination I own). If this were a Personna GEM PTFE-coated stainless steel blade, I would already be into the good shaves by now. We will see how the next shave goes. I might cork the blade if shave four on the PAL blade is not smoother. Anyway, below is today's shave setup.
