Just a Phenomenal shave with the Ethos Dragonsbeard trifecta, Brush and the Vector Ti. This is "THE" razor for me if I had just only 1. I after borrowing a Ti wanted to get one, BAD and I'm VERY happy with this no longer available Polished by Blackland Ti Vector Set. I will say that after shaving with both within days of each other, the Polished is a tad more aggressive......not by much but enough to notice and I can only assume due to the polish ( or the blade used ) which looks GREAT and CRISPLY done. I LOVE this razor and thank Calm_Shaver for the deal on it. Oh and by the way, did you notice it took a Schick Proline blade. First out of a 30 pack that I got 2 of some time ago. Is it before the Prolines had a slight adjustment to there dies or was it the polish ? I have no idea and will be a long time before I go thru these 60 blades to find out but that was a happy surprise too. Have a great day everyone !

Hi Dave, Happy to hear you’re enjoying the Vector Ti Polished !!! Very nice setup.

Thats the only blades I used for the Vector Ti, the Feather Pros worked better on my Stainless when I had it.

I just purchased a satin Vector in the recent sale and really like it so far.  Is it normal that screwing on the top cap isnt as smooth as what you would expect from a normal DE?  I assume its due to the post design but want to make sure its expected.

It's a given without there being a completely round post that getting it aligned well before threading is very important to prevent cross threading. That said, when I pay attention I've never had trouble getting it to thread easily. Just when in a rush I've caught myself. Maybe Shane can chime in on the subject.... Blackland Razors

Yeah fortunately it doesnt look to be cross threading, just feels a bit gritty if that makes any sense. Could just need some use to break in the threads a bit.

The main cause is the grain structure of titanium itself, but the post design may play a small part. Titanium threads are generally a little grittier feeling. By contrast, brass threads are exceptionally smooth. Stainless is somewhere in between. This does get a bit better over time, but it will never be like brass or stainless.

Edit: May be a good idea to screw a q-tip in and back out of the handle to confirm that there isn’t any debris inside. We take care to ensure that all parts are cleaned fully, but it’s a smart thing to check.

Thanks Shane Blackland Razors , I appreciate the quick response. I'll try the q-tip and see if there is anything in there but Im sure like you said there is nothing wrong.

Love the razor so far, really something special as far as SE razors are concerned. The handle is perfect.

Blade: Feather Professional (5)
Brush: TanZ w/Mozingo ZT4

Still breaking in the ZT4 and still can't believe how stunning this handle is. It goes perfectly with CB V.

Used this setup for my head and face shave
