Wetshaving newbie days, it's either Soap Commander Courage or Dr John's hydra. My first artisan soaps.

Took me back the instant I came across it, Clubman Pinaud. Totally reminded me of my dad.

Tabac aftershave. It's the second aftershave I purchased. I ordered it the day I tried my first aftershave, Proraso green, which I PIF'd shortly after I got the Tabac. I now have four jugs of Tabac. I think you can guess which one I like better...

Back when I started shaving with a Gillette Sensor, I remember having a bottle of Tabac aftershave. But when I went down this actual rabbit hole years later, Stirling Soap Company’s Black Cherry was one of the first artisan soaps I ordered, and is still a standout because of the ridiculously good scent (and performance).
Whenever I go to shave, I assume there’s someone else on the planet shaving, so I say “I’m gonna go shave, too.”

Mystic Water Bay Rum; one of the first scents that I started off with, along with Mike' s Lemongrass & Eucalyptus. Shy

eShave Lavender was my first wet shave soap/cream and I still love that lavender scent. I soon got into Ogallala Bay Rum shaving soap and really enjoyed it. Their soaps haven't really kept up performance-wise but I love the scent and still use the aftershave toner. Barrister & Mann Bay Rum was my first artisan soap and its still in my rotation. Thats when the madness truly began Big Grin

Proraso Red. It was the first traditional cream I ever used. I bought a tube of it at a local knife shop that has a small wetshaving selection. For me, there's something about the Proraso Red scent that I find incredibly intoxicating. So much so that I will still use it even though I now have other products that perform better. P Red just smells like the essence of wetshaving to me.

The light, pleasant, soapy scent of Institut Karite shaving soap. It was the first top tier soap I ever used. It's scent will always remind me of being a newbie wetshaver, and of traditional shaving in general.
