Interesting comments.  I haven't tried a Streamline.  I understand you find it to be a closer shave.  How does it compare to the Sabre with the aggressive plate as far as smoothness goes?  Even if not as close a shave?

Streamline is more aggressive, more efficient and much more noisy, but Sabre has less blade feel.

The Streamline is worth trying, but I don't think the performance matches the current prices Streamlines go for. I liked the three I had, but sold them as they did not beat the effectiveness of the OCMM for me.

However, each face is different. The Streamline is certainly a very nice razor. It will give you a very smooth shave.

I should find my Streamline in one of my bins to use again after several years. Last time I used it, over a period of ten or 12 shaves, I was convinced that my other Gem-blade razors were more efficient--MMOC, Junior Bar, 1907 Lather Catcher, 1912, 1914, 1924... I should try it again.

US prices are so high. But UK prices are lower than $100 (includes shipping) even for NOS streamlines.
But it is not that easy to find them. Need to spend time.

I lately (end of July) got the streamline with bigger holes from UK as $70 + $20 (shipping to US):

My friend got his in July from UK as $65 + $10 (shipping to US):
