I love all of the old 50's and 60's shows I grew up with, and own most of the complete series DVD box sets, including The Lone Ranger, Andy Griffith, Man From Uncle, Mission Impossible, Leave it to Beaver, The Honeymooners, Taxi (70's) and many more. Some of these shows are still in syndication, after 60+ years! In recent years, my 2 most favorites are:
1) The Americans
2) Burn Notice

There are several.  Different eras too.  For instance, I grew up watching The Flintstones and really liked it.  Years later I attended law school and we had a TV in the student lounge where we ate lunch (pastiche from La Pasta in Hub Mall).  The Flintstones aired at noon.  Apparently the show had always aired at noon in Edmonton AB.  So there we sat munching our lunch and chilling to The Flinstones- the minds of the future legal profession, bench and bar being molded. A well placed Flinstones reference would never go unappreciated in any judicial proceeding before a University of Alberta trained Judge. Big Grin

In the modern era I would list:

Breaking Bad
Longmire
Justified

Honorable mention to:

Peaky Blinders
Ozark
The Last Kingdom

Of all time? That takes in a lot of years. Not just one but many. If I can remember them from my childhood I suppose they'd be favorites since they made an impression.

Star trek
Twilight Zone
One step beyond
Alfred Hitchcock presents

Today:
Blue Bloods
Chicago PD

Comedy: Mash/Cheers/Seinfeld
Need to think more.

Seinfeld, yup.  The frequency of those moments in daily life where you're struck with the thought "there was a Seinfeld episode about this" is amazing.
