Thank you!

Of course! I realize that discussion was very brief. From the very few things I’ve managed to read about Honeysuckle, it does sound like a very pleasant soap. Since there are no samples of it available, it may be one of those “leap-of-faith” product acquisitions … but at least you know that you like the soap base! Smile

Matthew, you can get samples of PAA here if you're interested. They don't offer anywhere near every scent but they do have a few, mostly older scents.

This is where I got the Honeysuckle and a few others.

Thanks, Jeff! I had seen that link somewhere before (had it bookmarked), but had forgotten about it. Seems like a good resource for testing various products.

Whenever I go to shave, I assume there’s someone else on the planet shaving, so I say “I’m gonna go shave, too.”

I forgot about Old Town. That's where I got ABC and MdC samples before and I recall seeing PAA. Thanks for posting.

I haven't tried any of the three you mentioned. Are they typical barbershop scents to you or do they stand on their own? I'm just not that into barbershop scents, or at least not the typical powdery note ones.

Clubguy smells a lot like Clubman aftershave which is pretty heavy on the powder. Cad is also a barbershop scent, but is unlike any other I have come across, very nice fresh clean scent. I actually got the deodorant first and liked the scent, and was lucky enough to scrape out a small sample of the soap from a pass around box.

The Oakmoss & Sage scent I have is a PPF soap, but I believe PAA still has the same scent available. It is a unique scent, and does not smell like sage or oakmoss to me. Many people do not care for this scent, but I think it is nice and subtle. I have heard their Cavendish is one of their best scents, Sangre De Draco sounds like a great scent as well.

Cavendish is a great scent. That is one I will be picking up at some point in the future.

I haven't tried Dirt but based on the scent profile below, I'd say it smells like earthy dirt.

Top Note: Dirt

Middle Note: Dirt

Base Note: Dirt
