I haven't tried their soaps yet. But overtime I think of it I can't decide because there is too many scents and V2, 2.5, 3...I'm just not sure. They should make maybe 6 awesome scents and stick with it.

Many artisans make more than 6 scents and I'm glad they do. That's not very many if you think about it. Stilling is my second favorite artisan, and tie for 1st in performance, and they have a ton of scents, I think around 40+. The more the merrier I say. It does get overwhelming when trying to choose one but just narrow down the choices by deciding what you are looking for. That's what I do anyway. I go straight to the ones with woodsy and/or cologne type scents.

Smelled but not owned:
Spring Heeled Jack - Black coffee (Don't drink the AS)
9 - gun solvent
AGHARTA - (It is not out yet, but I got to smell it recently...yeah!!)

Owned
Strange Island - Sage, Lavendar, Copiaba Balsam
Cedar Fever - Cedar, Yellow Rose, Sweetgrass (Made for the Shave by Shave West meetup...I can't take my nose out of this one).

I like the current formula. The brush loaded fast, lather came to good point fast, and the scent was there the whole time. I just go these this weekend, and only two shaves. These two were right up there in the pack. Glad to have them in my den.

I enjoy their Mal Pais scented soap, not overpowering but a very intricate scent, it performs well too. I really should try their line of aftershaves, I have been looking for an aftershave with a long lasting scent.

I can still catch a whiff as I'm driving home from the office. Excellent longevity. The scent is fantastic on both. Douglas has really created a masterpiece with this one. The oud and sandalwood work so well together and really has the "feel" of a high end fragrance. The soap is a wonderful performer and the lather is easy to make and plentiful with excellent slickness and a great post shave.

What are your favorites?

If you liked Sangre De Drago, you would also like Bad Obsession. Currently only available in AS, but it's also excellent.

I own and have tried 5. All five are great. I like version 3.0 a lot better than 2.5.
1. Dapper Doc's version 2.5
2. Malbolge version 3.0
3. Speakeasy 3.0
4. Cavendish 3.0
5. CAD 2.5

PAA is Phoenix Artisan Accoutrements? People are still using their soaps on a widespread basis?

I think my all time favorite is FrostByte. It was my first highly mentholated soap and I love the tea tree, too.
Mine is from the early formula, and I haven't tried the new one yet, since the first one is very long lasting.

Ciderhouse 5, Miami Libre, and 11235. Also like the pumpkin.

Correct Tbone, and it appears so. I usually buy their soaps or B&M from a local retailer to gift to new wet shavers.
