It sounds good to me, Brian.  Besides, is it any more unusual than folks who eat a slice of cold pizza for breakfast (and, yes, I have done that)? Big Grin

Dittos Andrew. It looks like a very healthful breakfast Avgusto. Heck, even I could eat that with the strict diet that I'm on!

"Sigh"

A piece of toast w/homemade w'w' bread & tub margarine, no fat strawberry yogurt, some lowfat low sodium swiss cheese (Finlandia LITE which is actually quite good).

Such is life. But I want to lose another 30 pounds (roughly 15 kg).

I get my 2 eggs for the week sometime this weekend. I'll cook up some more bacon (cherry smoked) and have a slice or 1.5 slices with it, of course some toast.

You know, Brian, your toast, no fat strawberry yogurt, low fat/sodium Finlandia actually sounds pretty darn good.  I usually have nothing but coffee in the morning.  A full breakfast is a rare treat, usually when I have a guest and we decide to go out for a morning meal.  Every once in a while, though, a simple slice of toast and/or some no fat yogurt is just what I want because it’s tasty, I don’t feel stuffed, and it doesn’t trigger my appetite to eat throughout the day, which a full meal does.  The only thing I might change is a bit of butter for the margarine ( but then, I don’t know what your doctor might have suggested).

The nurses suggest butter instead. I'm still doing research. But the tub margarine has no trans-fats and is generally considered safe.

This or some variation is my daily breakfast:

Scoop of rolled oats
Sprinkle of dry roasted pecans, unsalted
Sliced banana or dried blueberries
A few good shakes of cinnamon
Squirt (about 1 tbs) of flax seed oil, but only when eating breakfast at home
Room temp filtered water

Mix together, no heating, I like it "cold".
