Thanks! I printed it on my 3D printer. Here's a link to the design:

The creator, rogerquin, has a lot of great 3D print designs for shaving.

First shave with a Tatara Masamune Dark.

I used a Wilkinson Sword, generally a reliable and very good blade for me.

Interesting razor. It is different than other razors I have been using that mostly ride the cap and this, with a negative exposure wants to ride the bar and seems to need a little pressure.

I got a very good shave from it, but it will have a short learning curve. A few areas I didn’t get quite close enough, and bit myself once behind the ear figuring out how best to get the hairs right in the notch there. Just a little too much pressure.

It seemed to make a few almost healed and hidden scrapes from a prior debacle and redden them up again. Maybe the pressure on the bar dragging over them? Not sure, but no other new scrapes or injuries.

I’ll have to try a few more blades and practice the different technique.
