What is your Favourite Soap Artisan

That is pretty much exactly my list. Only adds would be MdC and SH. COOL

Looking back on the last three years, I'd say that the four top for me consistently have been:

Grooming Dept
Ethos
Ariana & Evans
Tallow + Steel

I'm not really sure that SV is "artisanal" but it's just about up there, too.  And right close behind would be DR Harris, which is definitely not "artisan" but works for me.  I'd note, however, that my mileage can vary based upon location. For instance, SV is markedly better at one house of mine than at the other, probably due to the water.

But there are others that have also given me damn fine shaves -- Barrister & Mann, Lothur, Wholly Kaw (from the recent H&S/WK passaround organized by DanLaw). And while I've tried a number of others, I can't pretend to have tried everything -- I've never tried, e.g., House of Mammoth (though I got a sample delivered today), Noble Otter, Sir Henry's, Shannon's, or Nuavia, among others.  Am impatiently waiting for my package of Fitjar Islands from Norway right now.  So many great soaps out there!
