Yes, I remember now (Thanks Brian)! Their uncoated blades have been tried and they are the pits. Don't do it! They aren't just slightly worse, they are unusable for shaving. That result was quite a surprise.

GEM PTFE ... I have tried the others. One key consideration is availability, for which Connaught's here in the UK carry the coated blades in volume, others are more difficult to come by for a ready supply here. That said, I prefer the shaves from the PTFE blades. The first one can be a little rough, but in the right razor it is soooo efficient.
