Soon I will have 100 blades. They are called Derby Extra. I think that's the name . Are these the same as Derby Blades? A friend is giving me these.

Yes. Some don't care for them and some do. They usually give me a decent shave.

It was like shaving with a carrot scraper with a Lord Chrome. I had to change out the blade before I got through the first pass.

Bonus: I shaved with one of the "dog groomer" blades that are compatible with the Durham Duplex and that was even more harsh than the Lord Chrome.

Rise blades are my second worse blades. My friend Shemp sent me five of these. I did finish my shave though.

My worst blades are those from an Arabic country. I can't even read it, because it's in an Arabic alphabet. It was my worst.

And the blade which I tried recently is a Dorco 300, not a 301. I didn't think that the 300 was horrible.

I didn't have a worst blade until I tried a Big Ben from my initial trial pack. I would not say it was a bad experience, others just provide a better experience for me.

Dorco and Derby. I also have not had a whole lot of luck with Shark blades. I usually use Feather, Gillette Silver Blue, and the Personna "Lab Blue". That's just my preference.

Out of those I've tried (not too many), Astra SP. Had my first DE shave with them. Not good results. Weepers and a heavy irritation. I attributed it to my lack of experience. Some time later, with my technique much more refined, I gave them a second chance. Similar results. I ditched them. Their sisters, the SS, gave me good shaves, though.
