I started this one back in 1820 (give or take a few centuries). Finally got time to finishing it. I'd say "Slapstick science" best sums it up. Probably something Eric MaineYooper would enjoy? Definitely a light, fun read.

Paul, Amazon shows a sequel! I downloaded a sample. The Audible version is narrated by Wil Wheaton, of Star Trek TNG fame.

Further to your book mrdoug you might like to read this similar book that I read a while ago. it answers questions like how fat do you have to be to be bulletproof and does it hurt to get your head cut off. Apparently a better question as per the title would be what doesn’t eat wasps?

Woo hoo, another Holmes fan! I was introduced to the great detective in 1978, and along with Tolkien's Rings books, it has become an annual favorite.

Hey Eric. I saw that the other day. Download the ebook sample from the library. Seems to be on par with his first book, based on the first 50 or so pages in the sample. Definitely entertaining.
Wil Wheaton?! That's awesome, and a good choice I suppose (presuming John Cleese wasn't available. Lol).

Awesome, thanks Mark! I'll have to take a look. Much appreciated.
Just finished a quick read of Carry On, a book about Stan Zuray, Bostonian that ended up homesteading in Alaska. I first became acquainted with Stan from the Discovery show Yukon Men. Then got to become better acquainted through correspondence related to Salmon runs as we have both worked hard to safeguard runs. Fascinating read about my friend Stan.
