That's pretty harsh, if not downright abusive.  Is this thread something like the "Waaaaah!  I can't buy a Wolfman razor" threads?

Damn Fine Shave works for Mitchell's Wool Fat?  Mitchell's Wool Fat is an awesome soap to be sure.

But it will let an artisan be bashed because he or she gets really busy or otherwise has a life besides making shaving products?

DFS was born in response to inexcusable conduct on a couple of the more disreputable shaving forums.  Is it now going to allow threads like this one to stand?  It is just my opinion, but I think this thread should be closed, encased in concrete, and buried ten feet deep.  It does not at all embody the DFS spirit.

Another option is to decide not to feed the beast. If we all quit posting to this thread, it will die a quiet death...

Glad to hear Grooming Dept is back on track. Their soaps are some of the best on the market IMO, and am happy to hear even more people will be able to try these top notch soaps.

Mo is always trying out new ingredients and bases to keep upgrading formulas, something many other artisans should be doing IMO. His scents have also come a long way since GD first hit the scene. I wish Mo nothing but sucess and just glad to hear GD is back up and runnin'.

Just for the record i am not a shill and have not been paid for my opinions in any way.

Never considered ordering another GD soap as the feeding frenzy for acquiring one is like the Paparazzi chasing down the Royal couple after a stay in the French Riviera. Always gone within the first 10-15 minutes. I don’t have a fixation for making it a must have but, I still do recognize that it’s still perhaps the best artisan soap available to date. I had decided to wait for the release of the pre-shave cream that will soon be available. I just happened to check up GD’s site as it was announced that another restock would be happening today and see if an announcement was pending concerning the pre-shaves. Lo and behold, soaps were still available! I said to meself, what? Perhaps consumers are a bit apprehensive in putting an order in with all the stuff that has been going on? Is there a GD boycott happening in the wet shaving world? I don’t know but, I’m a sucker for good soap. So, I grabbed 2 tubs, checked out without an issue, got my confirmation that the order was placed and continued on eating my wings and chugged down a nice pint of Guinness. That easy, for real.

“Bartender, another Guinness but, with a twist. Make it a Black Velvet.” Time to sit back and enjoy this one.....

Cheers Gents.......  Winking

I blame you GlazedBoker. Saw your post and thought to myself "really there's soap still available!?!" I have now also picked up two tubs.

Thanks for the heads up!

Seems to me like that re-stock came off pretty good, a couple of soaps sold out but some lasted a lot longer.

There's still a few selections left. I guess the big rush was for the new bases and scents that were released earlier back in October. I ain't complaining and I really wasn't looking to purchase any soaps as I'm really looking out for the pre-shave cream release. That stuff will take anything you have and practically turn it into a top tier soap. No bs as I tried a couple of his samples. Simply stunning.....

Does anyone know when he is releasing the pre shave?
