What happened to Bad Dad (Chris I think)?

Without getting into details, everything is fine. Nothing is "back to normal", but normal wasn't all it was cracked up to be anyhow, so there's that...

I'm still shaving my head daily, though the routine has switched up quite a bit. Not using straights as often as I would like because, well, life is still hectic, and necessary changes to my schedule conflict with evening shaves, which makes it less practical to use the straights as often as I prefer. Thankfully I still have my Slim, SuperSpeed, and Maggard's V3, along with a drawer full of blades...

Social media has become a pariah to me these days. I use instagram because it doesn;t have the same nonsense as is found elsewhere. It's just pictures, and nobody takes and shares pictures of the things they hate. And people seem to hate a lot these days...

I will try to participate more here. This place was always a second home to me, and I do still appreciate every member that has shown me kindness. Y'all are a pretty amazing group of dudes, so I will make a concentrated effort to show my ugly mug around a little more often, and try to get back into the swing of participating in these parts.

Thanks for all the private and public well wishes. Y'all are fantastic, and I really can't tell you how much I've missed this place, and the fine gentlemen that are still hanging around these parts.

I was just going to tell the legend that he enjoyed our Black Tie Razor pass around so much, that he went to a Carribean island to shave and tan and never be heard from again.

That would have been so much nicer than what actually occurred. I still owe the entire participating group an apology, and yourselves as well.

No apology required. There are MANY things in life more important than a pass around.

Chris (BadDad), it truly is so good to "hear" your voice again.  I sincerely hope that your voice of logic will be heard around here again.  As you can tell, wherever life has taken you lately, you haven't been forgotten at DFS.
