What fragrance are you wearing today?

Creed Himalaya for me.
Polo Red for my son.

Tried some Dior Sauvage yesterday. Decent opening but didn't care for the dry down.

To me Sauvage is a synthetic mess, especially the opening. I can see why a lot of 'regular' people would like the scent from a distance though, which is why it gets all the compliments.

Still debating if I will buy it at some stage to use it in a blend. It has excellent staying power. But really artificial synthetic bunch of notes to my nose.

As far as I'm concerned, Claus, you are spot-on with your evaluation.  I realize different folks will come at this scent from different points of view, and that is definitely okay.  For me, though, I would never want to be stuck standing next to someone wearing this while in a NYC subway car during rush hour.
