Today I'm wearing Bond No.9 Brooklyn - 8-10 body & neck/back head sprays and I'm set.
This fragrance at first was really nothing I could appreciate at first, it was a blind buy and I felt it was just ok, yet another mediocre Bond No.9 fragrance.
Now that I'm wearing it for 2-3 hours today, it just click and I really am starting to not only like this fragrance but loving it.
I didn't realize the cardamome in the top, but now after having used Tabula Rasa cardamome shaving soap a couple of times, I now know the smell I get from Brooklyn is just that mixed with grapefruit.
Then you have gin note in the mid and geranium - and all this is mixed very well with a cedar and very mild leather oud in the base.
This is really a high level niche fragrance - disguised as a regular boring designer.
It could easily have been made by Commes des Garcon.
I have 18 almost full 100 ml bottles of Bond No.9 in my fragrance collection, and even though the brand are hated a lot on the forums, I just have to admit they DO make some excellent fragrances.
