Today’s trial decant.  Ever since I tried MindGames Forward, I’ve been trying to find a pomelo scent. Forward began with a rich wonderful pomelo citrus but I couldn’t take the cashmeran dry-down. Pomelo Sorrento doesn’t have such a wonderful pomelo as Forward and, all-in-all, it seems to me to be just an unexceptional good and fresh pleasant citrus. It’s not bad at all and I can see why it is fairly popular  but, to me, nothing special. I've tried it three days now and on the place side it has excellent duration for a fresh citrus and, to be fair, it may appeal more in the summer.

Really really like it.  I've tried a few other coconut-forward scents and never really liked them -- e.g., Creed Virgin Island Water.  This is coconut, fruity, a touch of citrus adnd slightly tangy over a rum, tonka base. Somewhat creamy, maybe a touch soapy.  There's a backbone to it but it remains fresh through the drydwon.  I am getting a travel size to keep using it.  And while I would think most folks consider this a warm weather scent I'm enjoying it here in the dead of winter. It is supposed to pair really well with the Carthusia Corallium I tried last week and also liked a great deal -- full bottle on its way to me.  Will be trying that next.

That was compelling; need to try this. Your scent preferences tick all my boxes, especially this one.

Have always had a weakness for coconut foreward tropical scents. Still searching for the perfect soap fitting this profile.

Would also love to learn of a perfect coconut soap, since I also like coconut.  My choice to date has been A&E’s St. Barts.  I should note that I used 2654 yesterday again and realize that it pretty much dries down to a marine scent.  Do really like it.  Tomorrow I’ll be trying City Rhythm’s Miami which is supposedly more tropical and coconut forward.
