6/17 - Terre D'hermes Eau Givree (Decant)
This one has piqued my interest. I am finicky about anything remotely lemon, but the citron opening in this is fairly palatable. However, it really shined when the juniper notes took over. My only complaint is the scent went quiet relatively quickly. I wish I could combine the performance of Dior Homme Sport 2021 with this scent profile.
6/18 - Dior Sauvage Elixir (Decant)
A reprieve from the heat, with a mild cool front, prompted an application of Sauvage Elixir. The opening was a bit abrasive but it settled down into an interesting set of notes. I am just not completely sure about the balsamic characteristic. But overall I found a lot to like on this one. And longevity was evident. A couple of hours after initial application, I had switched into another shirt. The next morning I was performing some light physical work in the same shirt, and that scent just projected out of nowhere once things heated up.
Today:
6/19 - Memo Paris Irish Leather (2nd Decant)
There is something addictive about this scent. Not sure this would be well loved by the masses. But I might just have to get a smaller bottle for myself. Projection falls fairly quickly and seems to want a little bit of over spraying. Juniper and leather notes just work for me in this one.
