Eau Sauvage by Dior is one of my favorites and a true classic, unlike Dior's Sauvage which, for me, has one of the worst stinks I have ever encountered in an EdT/cologne.  I cannot believe Dior chose an almost identical name for the second one.

Thank you, both, gentlemen, and I guess I'll have to order the sample pack. This will be the first time I deviate from my standard essential oils to try some new fragrances in over 30 years.

I'll soon find out as I just ordered four samples: Civet, Rhinoceros, Panda, & Bat.  

An update on this as I received my order a few days ago. I ordered the scents above, and I was generously sent a sample of Beaver, also.
I have used Civet and Panda, and while they are, indeed, lovely scents, I find them a bit overly synthetic.
This is the main reason why I don't use commercial EdT, Parfums, or aftershaves as they are a bit overwhelming.
I tend to use a combination of essential oils, 1-2 drops.
Even using only one or two sprays of the sample-size bottles of these scents was more than enough for the entire day. The scent did subside throughout the day, but it was still prominent in the evening.
Therefore, I don't foresee these working for me, unfortunately.
Oh well. I am more than content with my essential oils.
