Freddy you're welcome. It just occurred to me that with members from all over the world it would be interesting to hear people's personal accounts of the varied places they call home. Who knows? We might just start a travel boom.

Seasons are great, sometimes we get all four on the same day!Smile

But since I lost everything in real estate and the stock market it's taking me a long hard road to get back especially at the age of 62

Yeah 2008 was a real kick in the gonads wasn't it - I'm glad to hear that you're still moving forward though. Perseverance is the only way, make sure you always get back up and keep on going. And Florida sounds like a nice place to do that.

That would be great - I'll give you advance notice and we'll make a plan. I like plans. My wife says I'm not spontaneous enough but I do like a plan. I don't mind if they change in the face of unforeseen events but a framework is a good thing.Smile

That is me, as well. I don't think too many folks would accuse me of being spontaneous. They'd be more likely to say that spontaneous and Freddy in the same sentence is an oxymoron. Big Grin

celestino, I see you are originally from the only part of Canada that is actually south of the U.S. Its only 50 miles from where I live! I'm sure where you are now is a lot more interesting than the shores of Lake Erie though. I envy you, the Pacific Northwest is one of those areas I've always wanted to check out and haven't got a chance to yet. It does look beautiful!

Thank you, gentlemen!

Jeff, yes, Leamington was a lovely place to grow up, but a tad challenging to live in for me. It did provide easy access to Detroit when it was thriving with good music and a downtown nightlife!  Shy

Ha! I just realized you are in Ferndale! We used to drive on the I-75 going to many football/soccer games and concerts in Ann Arbor and the surrounding areas. Big Grin
