I love the Orange, Cedarwood, & Black Pepper scent and am really looking forward to your thoughts. Smile

if it smells as good as it sounds, I'm sure I'll be happy!

I've always loved Mike's, but this took it to a whole new level!

That's why you have to keep ordering, ordering, and ordering!  Big Grin   That way, you have a constant flow of shaving loot coming in the mail.

I've watched both of Merkur Man's excellent videos on lathering some of the harder soaps out there. the problem I'd have is that I only do 1 pass so loading for a long time would produce a lot of wasted soap for me.

I am confident you'll love Mike's andrewjs18
I think you'll find if you bloom the soap you'll pick up a whole bunch of soap very quickly. My video using Mike's was done with a dry puck and therefore takes some time to pick up the soap. If you are using smaller brushes I think you can get away with not using as much product but still building a shave-worthy lather. I would recommend not skimping on product though, as in my experience all it leads to is a poor shave. One thing you might try as well if you build up too much lather is use it as a facial moisturizer before and after your single pass (just spread it all over your face and allow it to sit on there while you get ready to shave, followed by a quick rinse before you lather up again for your single pass, and then again after your single pass while getting things tidied up, followed by a rinse.) This is how Nuavia recommends using their soaps. I think you'll notice the moisturizing benefits and feel less like you're wasting all that wonderful lather. Hope you love Mike's!
